Another Full Moon

Last night was full moon. The moon that rose from the horizon was yellow and beautifully round.

On full moons like tonight, remind me of the moon that I saw when I lived in London.

Moon that looks as fake as a paper moon.

But last night’s full moon seems to hold a particular strength.

When I made this website, it was also a full moon.

Almost 1 year has passed and my works as well as myself has changed drastically. I met great people and I noticed many things.

I decided to change most parts of this website and updated the texts and images. The old texts don’t fit my thoughts so they had to go.

I started to make “string mandalas” and have found “Itokake string art”. My journey continues.

From now on, I plan to write blogs on new moons and full moons.

I hope you stay around to see me develop and change.

昨晩は満月。上がり始めたお月様は黄色く、丸く、美しかった。

そんな満月の日はロンドンで暮らしていた時に見た満月を思い出す。紙でできた偽物のような満月。

でもなんだか不思議な力を持ってるような満月。

このホームページを立ち上げた時もちょうど満月だった。それから1年近くが過ぎ、私も、私の作品たちも随分変わった。その間、色んな出会い、気づきもあった。

欠けた月が満ちて、もっと鮮明に色んなことが見えるようになった。

そして、今日やっと作品をアップデートして、ホームページ自体もガラリと変えた。古いでテキストも、画像も今の私の考えと合わなくなったから、全部作り直した。

「糸かけ曼荼羅」を入り口に、「糸かけストリングアートに」たどり着き、もっともっと自由な作品作りに向かっているのだと思う。

これからは新月の日と満月の日に少しずつブログも更新して行きます。
